Patil’s political career
Pratibha Patil was born in the state of Maharashtra. Patil was a member of the Indian National Congress party and served as the Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare. She is the first woman to serve as the President of India.
Patil was also the first woman to be the Governor of Rajasthan. In her political career, Patil was responsible for the country’s healthcare and family welfare policies.
